The wife & I are back from the National Corvette Museum, great week long trip - including the Caravan going out (300+ other Corvettes).
I'll check the NCM website, at last word they approximated 8,000+ arrived for the 20th Anniversary.
We have pictures of almost everything -- from parking lot rest stops along the way, Corvettes at Carlisle, Flight 93 Memorial, Belterra Casino where we spent 2 days with the Caravan, the Hart County rest stop with the NJ, NE, NY & PA merged into one (about 600 of us) where the Kentucky State Police met us to escort us the last 30 miles to the NCM.
Pictures inside and out at the NCM including the sinkhole and the 8 Corvettes that fell into the 60 X 45 by 35 foot deep hole. We were not allowed to photo shoot inside the Assembly Plant (great tour -- watched them build from start to finish).

Sorry I missed you Jack, but it was a little difficult to find people with that crowd and we left early for our Caravan BBQ.

Its such a shame that at the gathering of Americas best (and only) true sports car, the average age is 65.

It's sad that the young guys stay away, for whatever reason. There is so much history and tradition they are missing out on. Name: vertwave.gif

Jeff,
I'll put these and the others on a disk and send them to Mike.
Thanks to you and the whole team for all your hard work, it made the entire trip truly memorable.

For those of you that are not aware Zipity (our former NJ Caravan co-Captain) has been named National Chairman for the 25th Anniversary 2019 National Corvette Caravan, it's great to see hard work recognized.

Zipity has endless energy and one of the hardest working volunteers I have ever seen. I have made all 4 caravans to date and plan on making the 25 celebration. While I went with the Pa caravan this last trip I will definitely be joining the NJ crew in 2019. Congrats Zipity! Well deserved recognition.
