More bling!!!
I can't take credit for this because another forum member did this a few months back and I thought it was a great mod.
It's pretty simple and if I can do it, then anyone can do it. I installed a LED light strip 60cm/24inches over my exhaust tips and spliced the wiring into the wiring from my number plate lights. Took less than an hour and cost $19.95 for the light strip.
The only tools needed are a #10 Torx bit, electrical tape, a crimping tool and connectors and a bit of extra 12v wire.
I rarely drive at night anymore because my night vision isn't what it use to be, but I love the way this looks!

Looks very nice. Gotta keep it clean though!!
Not sure, but probably illegal here in Oregon. But the LEO that would ticket it would probably also be d*ck enough to nail you for no front license too!

Your LED mod looks great. But here in California it wouldn't be legal. A vehicle can't show direct white light to the rear unless the trans is in reverse. At all other times only red or amber light can show to the rear. I don't know what the law is like in Queensland, so you may be alright.

I checked with three different people at Queensland Transport and got three different answers. Our road rules are basically the same as in the US.
1. NO under car lighting allowed (it really isn't under the car, is it?)
2. Red, amber or white in the rear as long as it doesn't distract other motorists.
3. Red only in rear.
If I get stopped, it's an equipment violation ($40 fine/no points). When that happens I will switch to red.
One of my ancestors in England was convicted of stealing a sack of grain in 1839 and sentenced to 14 years in Australia. Being an outlaw just runs in the family.
