I am looking at possibly ordering the silverguard plus, but I was wondering if it had any grommets which can be used to secure the cover to the car in windy conditions?

Yes, but I would advise against using the cover in windy conditions. They usually get dirt and dust under them when windy. The constant wind will rub that into the paint which will create scratches. It's best to remove covers when windy. The grommets aren't enough to keep the cover from moving around.
