Alright! That's what I figured should happen. Glad to hear it's all working out and GMPH is a standup, trusted CF vendor.

Bob,
Have you received the replacement Z06 shock? Does GM Parts House want the defective shock returned to them?

you act like this is the first time that someone has had issue

you can tell just by his interaction with members we're viewed as payment machines and not much else

a few vendors on here are like that actually

oddly enough one of the best online vendors with a great return policy on ac delco / gm parts is

amazon

I got a notification from FedEx late yesterday that the part had been shipped. Estimated delivery is tomorrow (Thursday).

I have not been asked for the old part back (yet). There may be instructions to do so packed with the new part...will let you know.

UPDATE #4

I received a replacement shock from GMPH yesterday.

I hope to get it installed this weekend and get back on the road.

Been down two weeks. Longer than I should have been, but bottom line is GMPH stood behind the products they sold!

Installed the new shock and went for a nice evening cruise with the top off. All is right with the world again!

I didn't take in any pics tonight, so I thought I would throw one in from my plant visit in BG as part of the NCM 20th celebration last month...

No, you got that completely wrong. I was trying to support a fellow forum member. Don't you find it interesting that Bob received an email from GM Parts House at 10:07 pm on a Friday night. I am sure that there was no one working at GM Parts House that late on a Friday night. Someone from GM Parts House was reading the negative comments from their home that other members, other than myself, were posting. They wanted to stop the negative comments and save face. That is why I believe Bob received his favorable email that late on a Friday night.

I apologize racebum. I misinterpreted your original post. I think it's important that forum members support each other when dealing with vendors. Nothing worse than when you give them your hard earned money and then they give you the runaround when there is a problem with one of the products they sell.
