I am thinking of buying the 2013 C6 Z51 sway bars and 2013 C6 Z06 shocks from GMPartsHouse and having them put on my 2001 A4 Vert. Who has this package on their car? How much is the difference in ride going from the stock shocks to the C6 Z06 shocks?

I recently installed this combo on to my 2000 coupe. The car is much flatter through turns at speed, and overall is a better handling. The ride is definitely more rough though. Overall, for what the parts cost, I think it was a great upgrade for a street driven car.

I have GMPH C6 Z51 sways, but I installed Bilstein HD shocks instead. The performance is flat, but the ride is smooth.

On my '99 Z51, I put on the C6 Z51 sway bars with metal end links. Since my shocks were still low mile and in good shape, I did not change them.

My impression from just the sway bars is that it is a great upgrade. It corners much flatter and I couldn't feel any change in the ride roughness.

Definitely do the sway bar upgrade, and then decide which shocks based on the ride you are after.
