Matte orange Vinyl wrap

Matte orange Vinyl wrap
--UPDATE--
I've had the vinyl on for over a month now, and I'm going to remove the matte orange and re wrap it over my winter break.
Any color suggestions? I want to leave the back black, and I have red corbreau a4 seats. The matte orange looks terrible with my red seats.
I was thinking about a matte white, matte white carbon fiber, or matte silver. Any opinions on what colors would look good? It must be a matte or a satin color - glossy vinyl is harder and more time consuming to apply and frankly I don't want to get through a huge piece to heat it or stretch it a little too much and have stretch marks in the gloss finish. There isn't that issue with matte and satin films.
Oh, and I'm removing the depo fixed headlights for my original pop ups :cheers;
This was my 3rd attempt at vinyl wrapping a car, I had a z3 I wrapped matte black and I did a friends car. I got my c5 about 2 months ago and the black paint was fading on the hood. This was meant to be a fun temp fix project before the semester started for me. I left the back black intentionally.
I went with matte orange after seeing a matte orange c5 in the for sale section. The total time was about 30 hours spread over three weekends. The total cost was $230 for the vinyl, $3 for felt squeegees, $10 for 94 primer from 3m.

Like the color and looks like you did a very good job on the install, but agree with the others about the unfinished areas.

Looks great- And a damn good job. As a minimum, do the side coves, but I'd echo everyone else and say do the rest of the car as well.
While I'm beating up your car... ...I'd also say get rid of the frog lights, but I realize that factory flips can be some $$$.

Added and update. Will be removing the depo fixed headlights and going back to oem flip ups.
Will be removing the orange vinyl over winter break on December, looking for vinyl color recommendations to re wrap it. Original color is black, and I want to keep the very rear black (as it is with the matte orange vinyl now). I have the red corbreau a4 seats, so the vinyl has to go with them was thinking matte white or matte white carbon fiber. Any ideas?

I alway check this stuff out, and wonder about the removal . I have read that three years is about the limit to remove without paint damage, but think this info is not from users, rather projected from the manufacturers info.
Do you have any experience with removal that you care to share? Things to plan for , potential problems, etc. Thanks.
I would go with a pearl if in white, but would consider a color that would work well with the unfilled areas if you decide to cover in the same way again, a two tone strategy.

Removal of the vinyl is pretty quick. Only problem is that if you removed panels to wrap them deep into the creases (like between the bumper cover and the rear quarter panels) you have to remove them or else there is a chance you'll tear vinyl off and it will be stuck on the creases so you would have to remove the panel to get that little bit out.
As far as a time frame, I'm not sure. I've removed vinyl that had been on for a year without any problems. You need to use a heat gun to remove it or it will leave glue residue behind that can be a pain to clean but not terrible. Id say the manufacturers say the 3 year mark just as CYA for them.
If your paint is in bad shape going into it, like clear coat peeling then removing the vinyl will probably make the clear coat problem worse. If your paint is in good shape then it's very safe.
As far as where I got the vinyl from, I bought it through amazon the first time then directly through vvivid the second time. Going through vvivid was a little more expensive but I made sure I got the newest model of vinyl they had (vvivid8).
They offered me a wholesale account so if anyone is interested let me know. I'm not trying to make any money off this or anything. Their customer service is great but it's s Canadian number so it was a pain for me to call and they had to call me actually.
I ended up going with the white carbon fiber in a semi glass finish, with black carbon fiber for the side mirrors and gloss black for the roof. Trying to decide if I want to do the rear "***" in black carbon fiber or just white carbon. Decisions decisions!
If anyone had any more questions be sure to ask!
