Default Seat rocking fix in Dallas - any recommendations

I've seen the videos, I think I can do it, but having just fixed my dishwasher, clotheswasher, battery swap, landscape lighting repair, built my new computer from scratch... I just don't think I have it in me to try. Anyone recommend a shop or person who can do this fix? Recently developed the rock back and forth on acceleration/braking, and I must admit I hates it precious...

Would prefer North Dallas/Frisco to be precise, but lazy beggars can't be choosers I s'pose...

Just did mine a few weeks ago. It's really not that difficult. Take your time, follow the directions step by step and have a helper.

It's really not that difficult. If it was a Chevelle and not a Corvette I bet you would have done it by now!

I've done the fix - took the time to make sure I was fully prepared with tools, laydown area, etc. Set a full Saturday aside to do it. Ultimately only took a couple of hours and nothing really difficult. Popped the celebration beer at noon. Lyle at C&S Vette has a great YouTube video that give a step by step procedure for dong the work. Works well to take your laptop to the garage to check while working - or you could take your Vette to the family room.

Be careful...

I spent $250 for Chevrolet to add one of these nylon bushing kits.

Keep in mind that C5 seats can rock in two places

a.) front to back on the track (that's what these nylon kits are for)

b.) up/down mechanism

I paid money to replace a.) above when it was actually b.) that had the problem

I don't know of any kit that addresses b.)

Luke.....regarding your B). I just posted an absolutely simple fix in the C5 general forum. Maybe it will help.
