Attended this event last Thursday & Friday up in Effingham, IL and had a blast. Lots to do & see, I would highly recommend it to any Corvette owner or enthusiast. I'll definitely be back next year.

And finally a pic of my '04 in front of the old gas station. It was a fun drive from Birmingham up to Illinois. After this round trip she now has 8175 miles on her clock.

I was born & raised on a farm only about 40 miles north of Effingham, and have two sisters who still live in the area, so my four day trip up to Illinois included family obligations as well as the Funfest. And anyway, I've never been a big 38 Special fan. Glad the weather held out for them since there was lots of rain passing thru most of Illinois Saturday nite.

Nice pictures and thanks! When I look at the rear of the "57" Corvette I think "class"! Sadly the c-7 makes me think drop the "C and L" from class! The c-5 is still beautiful from any angle however.
