Any recommendations for a shop in the Northern Va area experienced with LS engines?

Hey Roy:

Got nothing for you in Northern VA. In Yorktown area you have George Coleman and in Chesapeake you have J2 Race Engines. Both very experienced, trusted shops. Bring your wallet.

Been hot as can be here on the Treasure Coast. 90's daily and humidity to match these past few weeks. Rain 24 days out of 30 in September. Not all day long but at least a shower.

Will be cooling off starting this month. Going into those frigid winter temperatures in the mid 60's.

The C5 is running great and we are loving the area here. Hope all is well and remains that way.

Please call Rick Kim at RKT Performance in Frederick, MD. I won't let anyone else work on my car.

Another vote for Rick in Frederick. Excellent attention to detail, and great customer service. You are kept informed every step of the way.

There is a great independent Corvette dealer called Cooper Corvettes in Dumphries, Va. Tom is the Service Manager. They are the only ones I allow to work on my car; excellent work and attention to detail..

Transmissions and differentials, specifically Corvette related, are the primary focus, but not the only one.
Call or stop by sometime and speak to Rick. You'll be favorably impressed I'm sure, even if for only good advice on where to go.

Btw, they're no longer at their old location over by the airport, but at a new, larger facility out in the Southwest part of town (Jefferson Pike/180).

Here are some of the pictures of the engines we assembled and installed. This first picture is a 6.2L LSA engine in a CTSV ran that 9.63 @ 142.

Rick replaced my valve springs, valve seals, spark plugs and wires. Also changed fluids and installed my Bi Xenon ACA headlights.
Did a great job.
