a 58 couldn't get close to a moped in a race. Its definitely a car of style, not speed.

Well deserved Rick. Don't believe I have seen your interior. Looks great. First car show for me this fall is Saturday. Can't wait to mingle and look around. Had to take the day off of course but it's worth it. That last pic, did you polish your climate control blower motor?

sfcrick:

Always a big fan

Very few can customize a Vette so much and end up with such a great looking ride.

Thanks to all who posted. I'm sure there are many who love their own C5 as much as I do. I appreciate what it took to build these fine cars and love to make the one I have into my own Dream car.

Yeah, there’s a thread in the C8 General forum for member C8Smurf who had a stroke. How on earth that is related to this old thread, God only knows.

But I do wonder whatever happened to SFC Rick. He had one of the nicest C5’s ever on the forum, but seemed to have just vanished.

You and Grape Ape have set the standard for us mod "wannabees." Glad to hear you are still around and pounding the pavement with that sweet Corvette of yours!
