Default Borla Touring vs. Borla S Type II

Anybody out there heard both?

Would love to hear both in person myself. Anyone in the Delaware?Eastern Shore MD./Eastern Shore VA area with a c5? Would also like to hear BB Route 66 also.

Would like an upgrade from stock.....

Hi Jay, Here is some info on the Borla I have the S Type 2 I put it on my car first before I did Headers and it sounded good Stock but after adding Headers they really woke up. Loud going thru the gears but No Drone in 5th and 6th gear. I did not go with the Atak did not like the sound of them. Maybe this will help.

I have the Borla type 2 as well and absolutely love them. Headers going on Wednesday and can't wait to see what it does to the sound.

I had the Borla S-type on my '99 FRC with a Corsa X-pipe and B&B Route 66 with LG longtube pro's and catless X-pipe on my '99 targa 6M.

The Borla's are louder than the B&B Route 66 even though the B&B have headers and x-pipe.

I replaced my stock axle-backs with Borla S-II's; '99, 6spd. They are far louder than stock; nice idle, loud at WOT, some drone at 70ish in 6th, and they popple, crack and back fart real good when backing down in 3rd. Yes, I love 'em.

Jay, my first mods were the borla s 2 and long tubes. I love this exhaust. At idle it has a very deep tone as a muscle car should and not obnoxious. At high rpm you can definitely hear it but its still a nice deep tone.

I've since upgraded to ls6 heads and ls6 intake and cam or I'd meet up to let ya hear it. Still love the exhaust and don't plan on changing.

I get several compliments on how deep the tone is. Love these cars!
