Interior Lights
Weird thing going on here... Had the car in the body shop for when it was backed into. They replaced the rear bumper, so therefore that would mean they had to plug and unplug the brake light bulbs.
After picking it up, I noticed that when I hit the blinkers, I get a fast blink on the driver side, however it is intermittent. I've also noticed that if the lights are off, you can hit the brake pedal and all of the interior instrumentation lights will come on.
Fast forward a few days, and the car wouldn't start (dead battery). I charged it overnight and it started fine the next morning. When I got home, I got it out and drove it to the store. When I came out and got in the car, it started, but strained just a tad. According to the DIC, it was hitting around 10 - 12 volts.
I took it and had the battery tested, they said their tester said to re-charge and test again. Date code on the battery was from '09 so I replaced it.
It still has the issue of the interior lights coming on when the brake pedal is pressed. Anyone ever come across this?
Thanks in advance.
