My AC light keeps coming on
Juggled the cars around this morning and drove my FRC to work. A little nip in the air so I'm fiddling with the climate controls. I set mode to Auto, temp to 70, and outside air reads 54 - why does the AC light come on? I turn everything off and just bump the fan speed - the AC light comes back on. I'm just wondering if the "turned on light" <> "engaged compressor".

I don't think I had it on defog - but I'll have to look closer. With 1/2 the LED's behind the climate control panel burnt out it was hard to tell - ah yes another winter project....

It's not just defrogging that will cause it to come on. It will cycle on and off in any mode to dry the incoming air for comfort even when the outside temp is low.
