Default Corbeau FX1 Pro Reviews....

Got some FX1 Pro's from TPS MotorSports.

Very happy with TPS MotorSports, also got brake pads and brake lines.
There were easy to work with and shipped quickly.

I got the Corbeau seat brackets so install was super easy. Just bolted in.
I did change to 4-point harnesses and that took a little bit of work. Removing
the top made it easier to take the seats in and out.

The seats are very light and of great quality. Even with the brackets they
are noticeably lighter then stock.

I added 4 flat washer between the seat and the bracket and two washers
between the floor and the bracket in the front to lean the seat back a little
more. This helped but I feel I am leaning forward more then I like. Yet, when
I drove the car everything was very comfortable. I think it is just a matter
of getting use to the different angle.

The seats are a lot more comfortable then stock. That is for sure.
I'm 150lbs 5'10 and would like them to be a little narrower. I fit pretty
well in them, but the Sparco Evo fit tighter. Just did not want to pay
$800 per seat for those.

Interestingly, I sit a lot higher... My 11 year old noticed she could see
over the dash. There are no washers on her side. I'm not sure how
much higher they are, but it is noticeable. There will be room
for my helmet so its fine with me. I like better visibility. Might
be an issue for those really tally guys.

Overall I am very happy. Need to get on a track to see how much I truly like them.
The fixed back would be a little much for a daily driver.

I do not like the handle for the seat slider, it hits my Fire extinguisher.
I will have to move it to the roll cage when it is added in a couple weeks.
Its not like Corbeau expect a fire extinguisher to be mounted there.

I do not love the way the bracket looks around the factory bolts.
There isn't a way to add the factory bolt covers back on, and the carpet is cut
from around the bolts. I wish there would have been a way to cover that area.
Its fine when on the race track, but will look unfinished at car shows.

Is the car louder? I have not driven the car much lately so it might be me...
but really I seemed to hear more road noise and felt the road more.

Yes the car is dirty, been sitting in the garage a while.
