Arm rest pad replacement
I want to replace my arm rest pad with one of the new ones sold by Vendors? How does the old one come off ? Looks like it's held on by push pins but i'm afraid to pull too hard ,don't want to rip something !

Most of the arm rest pads are the same and go OVER the current lid - - you remove the lid by taking out the screws in the hinge - - -pull the new cover over the lid and use the double stick tape supplied to secure it - -the reattach to the hinge with the old screws . . . .you an use a hair dryer to smooth out any of the wrinkles that may form along the edges when you put it on.
At least that's the way it's worked with the ones I've bought.

Are you talking about the center console or the drivers door armrest?

If it is the center console lid, do like CQRT mentions. I think there are four screws holding the cover to the hinge.

If it's the center console, I took mine off and took the cover to an upholstery shop and had it stapled to the plastic of the original cover. Looks factory.
