Default Rev Limiter = Reduced Engine Power

On the 2000 FRC I just purchased I have discovered a really weird problem. Today when driving the car I went WOT in first gear and hit the rev limiter. As soon as it happened the car went into reduced engine power mode and the service ABS message appeared in the DIC. I pulled over and turned the car off then re started it and everything went back to normal. I repeated this one more time out of curiosity and the same thing happened again. Is this normal or is something wrong. I've never had this happen on any other GM vehicle I have owned.

Pull the codes from the DIC and post them up here. There are plenty of posts on how to pull the codes if you use the search function on the forum.
