Default Service Active Handling & Active Handling Warming up

Took my 2000 Vette to an auto repair shop because of some lights on the dash when starting the car.
The auto repair shop owner "put it on the computer" & said he was able to clear the codes except for the "steering wheel position sensor"
It now says "Service Active Handling" and "Active Handling Warming Up".
It did not have that message before he cleared the codes.

Steering wheel position sensor is discontinued & can't find it anywhere!
GM part # 26058286

Trying to sell the car and keep on pouring money into it!
(replaced the regulator for driver window, new AC)

Need help and advice on what to do!

Active handling warming up is simply an alert saying the active handling is not functional until it completes the warmup. It is not a problem. It should clear within a minute or two, then active handling is again functional.

Just curious if you tried locating a used one from one of the used parts vendors here on the forum? It may be your only option.

What exactly triggers that one?
I've seen it maybe three times in the last year, with zero correlation to ambient or car temperature, time of day, speed, when driven last, or anything else I can think of.

You can retrieve the codes yourself. Do this and post them
