I'm going to ask if anyone has compiled a comprehensive list of parts that directly change out or bolt-on to a C5 from a C6 or C7. I looked for any threads related to this, but found nothing in depth. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!!

I doubt anything from the C7 will fit without modification. As far as C5/C6, the chassis are the same, so a lot of the parts transfer. The C6 is considered a C5.5 for a reason.

If I recall there were only 2 parts carried from the C6 to the C7. One was a roof latch, I forget the other.

Shocks and sway bars work between the C5 and C6.

Just because only 2 parts are the same between the C6 and C7 doesn't mean C7 parts won't fit on a C5 or C6. Not saying anything would fit, but I wouldn't rule it out just because the parts are all new.

i would agree with you..the c7 is still pretty new and i bet parts will transfer over to both the c5 and c6 cars

This is what I am getting at. I have reasonably good knowledge of what some items are that are bolt on from C6's and hopefully maybe C7 in the future, but certainly not a Corvette Guru, the point I'm trying to convey is maybe a on-going feedback from forum members or non-forum visitors to contribute and develop a on-going growing sticky that lists all possible part swaps, i.e. motors, heads, exhaust, electrical parts,transmissions, seats, etc, or whatever !! Maybe it would be worthwhile, maybe not , that's why I am looking for feedback on if it's feasible or worthwhile. A C5 comprehensive collective list of swaps that are bolt on ??
