That is SO funny!

It might be a slight problem - better get a Hummer!

AS an engineer I can see an easy fix here, Bill.... that's what we do... the community looks new....the simple solution would be to raise the street....

that is too funny...and just lazy of the homebuilder to not take the extra step to level it out...

I've seen this pic many times before, and keep thinking it can't be real. Surely, surely no builder would do that. What vehicle could traverse that grade & still be low enough to clear the garage door?

A lifted c5. Put an 8 inch lift and some big tires, just high enough to get up, and low enough to clear the garage door!

Or maybe this is a family full of motorcyclists on enduros. That sounds like a much better idea

Get some of those Fat Daddy's or Fat Momma's and some Fangs and you'll have no problems tackling that driveway.

I'd say that would be a perfect excuse to build an underground garage.

you could also use a rail system the would pick your car up at street level then winch it up to the rail, then allow the carriage to retract into the garage..

BTW there is a house a few block over that has a much longer but similar angle to engage top get into the garage... Ill have to grab a photo of it.. its for sale also.. 750K.

Imagine mowing the yard or shoveling the snowy/icy drive.

That is plain STUPID, no matter what kind of car you try to get up that incline!

Mine is not quite that bad, but about as bad as a C5 could manage...

Worst part is the house they built right behind my garage has their Living Room right at the edge of the alley. You can see the neighbors move to the far side of their house every time I put it up on the KwikLift...

I think if you go at it head on with a good speed you might make it.

Maybe an angle.....just treat it like a speed bump...
