Gl!tch

Anyone have issues with their wipers being sporadic and then quitting altogether. I have a 99 Coupe and my wipers got to where they would not park all the way down, and sometimes just move up and down a couple of inches and then stop. They were working fine lately and then all of a sudden they stopped about 2 inches from being parked all the way down and will not work at all. Not sure whether I should go directly to the wiper motor or if there are known issues with the switch or motors altogether? if anyone has had the same, please let me know.
