Default Radio interference

Whats the deal with braking and radio goes to static. Do I have a bad ground somewhere....

Never mind think I just figured it out. I have led taillights.

By any chance, do you have a convertible or a fixed roof C5?? The radio antennas on these cars are located close to the tail lamp housings and that may be a problem.

You should closely check the ground wires at the wire harness connectors at the housings and the ground posts on the rear frame rail to make sure everything is tight and free of any corrosion or rust.

PS: Does it do it when you play a CD or cassette and brake?

Glass top. I was reading somewhere that the led tails will give you rfi interference..Imma get some factory tails and try it. haven't tried it with a cd yet.
