Default 97 white vette with c5.5 bumper cover and fixed headlights

I have a 97 white coupe. I installed a c5.5 front bumper cover. Chrome grill. And c6 driving light's

I also was able to aquire two sets of the Spectre Werks. C5R fixed headlights.

I made use of the best parts from both sets to make one good one set.
I replaced the 9005/9006 hi and low beam halogens with 6500k LEDs (3200 lumens each bulb)

I also installed Yellow halos around the four projectors. The halos are wired so they turn off when i turn my headlights on. They are will also flash when i use my turn signals.

The bumper cover and headlight lenses are being painted. Im picking up the car after work tomorrow.

Ill post pics sometime tomorrow or on Saturday. Im sure most people are going to hate on it. But i personally could give a rats ***. I love it. When it comes to c5's it seems what one owner loves is a redheaded bastard of a step child to another :-) but i welcome all comments even the ones from the haters hating.

I got to the shop just as it was getting dark. Ill post better pics in day light

Your car and your money to spend on it as you see fit. Doesn't matter what we think as long as you're happy. Will look back to see the pics.

A difference of opinion doesn't automatically make someone a "hater". Don't come on here and ask for opinions and go on to label someone who doesn't like what you like a hater before they even post up. If you really don't give a rat's *** don't start a thread in the first place. Do your own thing and keep it to yourself. Just sayin.

Pardon ignorance but is the "C5.5" front bumper the C6-style front fascia for C5s that someone was selling recently? If that's it then it's interesting for sure. I'm the type individual that any sort of aftermarket part made for a car is better than no parts made at all.

Ive been one here long enough to see paople hate and say rude nasty comments about someone elses comments. I personally dont care if people like it or not. Im just posting so the curious people can see what it looks like

Yes it is a c6 fascia. I bought mine from a forum member that makes them. I love it and think it looks great. Im not a fan of the tiger shark everyone else seems to like and wanted something different from stock.. it was very easy to install

Let's see what Mr. Webster has to say;

"A comment is considered as an observation or a statement that expresses a fact or an opinion on a matter."

Sounds the same to me. (see above)

p.s. I hope my grand kids don't start calling me dude.

Later dude

Please stop throwing around the terms "haters and hating" like a 14 year old. Besides that it's your car so mod how you like, however on an open forum you will get all sorts of comments (as you are well aware).

The term "hater" originally implied jealousy... nowadays people equate criticism or negative comments/ difference of opinion to "hating"... which it is not.

Dude if you want to argue semantics we can be here all day. Some people are just born old whether or not they have grand kids. Old is a state of mind.

Again welcoming comments isnt the same as "soliciting opinions" and not liking something and hating on it are not the same thing. Dont you have a wife you can argue with at home ;-)

Thats your interpretation of hating... saying you dont like onething is one
Saying something is ugly, nasty, that kind of thing is hating sorry you dont know the difference
