Default Can't get to stock ride height.

Hi, just as i stated on my introductory post, i have a almost stock 98 c5 corvette bt i'm having a height issue, on the states i've seen several corvettes lowered on stock bolts and beyond with aftermarket ones, here in mexico that's about impóssible the roads have bumps the size of small fences and holes wich the corvette does not seem to like the previous owner told me that he had only lowered the car in te back because the rear looked way to tall, he put longer bolts so taking a reference from here:

i bought a correct size bolt and inserted it, and for a while it looked like it was taller.

As time passed i began to have again trouble passing speed bumps and scraping the exhaust pipes all over town, so i looked further for a stock height meassurement (i know this is not the correct way to measure ride height but it's the fastest one), taking reference from Lsxtv.com the following were my references:

REAR:

FRONT:

For values of: Aprox 29.5 Inches on the rear and 28 inches on the front.

So, for my car???........ 27" ALL ARROUND!!!!!!.

as far as i can tell height is on the maximum achievable using the stock bolts, front ones i've not had time to check for originality or for diy hacks to the Bolts but they're on the "highest" setting possible, the floor of the car sits 4.5 inches from the ground.

i really would like to return it to stock height, but i don't have any idea of what would be the cause of it riding so low.

(Forgot to mention: i'm running eibach shocks as oposed to OEM ones don't know if that has anything to do)

any imputs will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Without going out to the garage to check I can say that your wheel gap looks pretty close to stock to me. If anything, it looks a little taller than stock ride height.

I think the picture is not his car.
It's a reference picture of stock height he found.
His is about 2" lower, as he stated at 27"

still 2" on the rear wich would give me some more height to pass speed bumps without touching, any idea on your stock height from the floor to the underside of your vette?.

Thanks

My car has never been lowered so it should be sitting at stock height.

The measurement from floor to top of front wheel opening is 27.5".

The measurement from floor to top of rear wheel opening is 28 5/8".

The measurement from the floor to the underside of the rocker panel (ground clearance on the side of the car) is: front - 5 1/4", rear 5 1/2".

All measurements are approximate - as close as I could determine.

the under side of my car:

REAR:

FRONT:

none of them even at 5" (more like 4 3/4" on both front and rear)

So having made clear that my car sits lower, is there any imput of how could i correct this?, as an additional data my car does not have stock size tires but my tire sizes are equivalent (at least in height) to those ones.

None at all?? the back assembly is complete with all the rubber spacers so that's what bothers me the most, the front i have not had time to check if the previous owner hacked the height adjusters.
