Default Reverse Lockout Solenoid

On my 04 Vert the reverse lockout solenoid started to act up this summer, it would intermittently not engage then the problem went away. Ordered a GM replacement part from Rockauto and did the job yesterday while I had the car on jack stands for it winter oil change, and surprisingly it was a easy R&R, other than working blind, pulled the connector, removed the 13mm bolt, put the mechanism in a vice replaced the solenoid check the mechanical plunger for operation, little bit of lube on both O ring and put all back togeter. Why GM recommends to lower the rear cradle is beyond me once the car is in the air its a 15 min. job even though you are working blind, made me a happy man.
