I'm sure no one here watches Street Outlaws - but did you notice in more than one shot where they interview Big Chief he has what looks like a red C5 behind him? I posted on their FB page about this but doubt I'll get a reply....

Seriously...been watching it from the start. Yes, I noticed the C5 last year as mentioned above. Don't recall if I saw it before that. Wonder what mods it has!

I know a lot of the show is scripted, as most "reality shows" are, but those cars are real...and real badass!

I live vicariously through these guys...

I noticed that and the one at Chuck's shop. It would be nice to see a C5 (or any corvette for that matter) run in some of those races.

I think the cars they are racing are a little out of the league of those C5s. Better leave well alone.

I've only seen a few clips of that show, but Farm Truck has been around at least since I had my '69 C10 in 2006.

Rednecks will be rednecks, I bet the C5 is mostly stock.

Big Chief's ride is awesome. On one episode they showed a quick time on the screen of 169 in the 1/8th mile, and on one episode they showed a dyno reading of what looked like 2400 HP. I think he will take the number one spot and hold it for a while.

Just need to take Mark Carlyle's Z06 down there it would be game over for those guys. Love the show and the cars are fast but Mark is beyond fast!!!

Agreed. But there has to some vettes out there that can compete. But that does touch on my one complaint about this show. These aren't exactly street cars. They might meet the technical definition of a street car, but in reality....

It's a show about street racing. It is scripted and produced for folks
that have never been to a drag strip. If you go to a drag strip you
would see the real thing. It's a lot more interesting and real than
a show on TV.

I love the show, I just take it as a comedy/drama, the cars are all I really care about.....and of course I've noticed the vette.
