Default My reverse lights are uneven...one is mcuh brighter than the other

I have two different sets of LED bulbs and the left side is twice as bright as the right side. Weird.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Loose connection, poor ground on the right side? Checking the output with a multi-meter may give you the answer.

Flip the bulb around. The stock bulb used in the reverse lights are dual filament (1157, commonly used as brake bulb or turn signal in other cars) except there's only contacts for 1 filament so if it's installed one way only the low filament turns on and if you flip it around both filaments turn on. I'd assume the LED bulb is a stock replacement and thus has 2 sets of LED strips rather than 2 filaments.

You say you have two DIFFERENT sets of LEDs. Might they be different like you stated? LEDs have specific luminosity.

It was driving me crazy that one side was brighter than the other. Once I flipped the bulb and saw the two filaments light up problem solved. Thanks!!
