Thanks I'll take a look. Are you using the Bose speakers? If you are how is the sound?

Just a heads up, the C5 uses a din and a half opening.. you can use a single din head unit and filler plate...

I'm still using the Bose myself. It sounds good because you can really do some fine tuning with the new head unit. I do have an amplified sub as well.

I'm still using the Bose system as well. I used pac-roemvet1 to stay with Bose speakers. Sounds good with some fine tuning for sure. I also got a mounting plate from humount as well.

Where did you mount your sub at?

Good idea do you get good sound from it with the cover on the cubby?

I really do actually. I swap cars often so it works well for me. I have had 10k dollars setups before, and this suits me just fine.

I'm using an Alpine head unit along with Arc Audio speakers and amplifiers.

I've got a Sony unit - DSX-S300BTX. What I like is that it has an internal compartment for storing an iPod/other MP3 player or USB drive. Sony calls it the "Tune Tray." I replaced the Bose speakers with some Kickers.

I took this four year old head unit out of my classic tbird before I sold it, and had it installed in the vette.
Kept the bose speakers, and they sound great.
Only thing I needed was an adapter harness which the installer had, and it works great.
I just wanted a head unit to plug my flash drive into, and I am very satisfied.

That is my basic goal to get a better head unit that will accept the flash drive
