Bob, I think I've seen before some custom LED's under the hood. Can you share the details or point me in the right direction?

Yes, I have them on my vette too. Here is a pic for you. I bought them at Autozone. wired them straight to the battery with alligator style clips. they come with sticky back tape already on them. I have a 12 inch strip on each side of the inner fender walls ,a 4 inch one under the front nosepiece by the airbox and a 4 inch one on the firewall right behind the plenum intake. looks awesome at night for the cruise-ins and car shows.

Mine was a triple black car too when I bought it 2 years ago, Here are two then and now pics for you. Thanks for posting.
