My Corsa Exhaust Bypass
While working on my winter projects I decided to put cutouts in on my Corsa exhaust but not like the usual setup.
The Corsa is sweet but sometimes I want it louder doing a WOT blast and these 3" Pep Boys electric cutouts will allow me to adjust my Supercharged exhaust for extra fun...
Lots of overlap with 3" pipe, now there's some wire wheeling cleanup and the welding left to do and it all comes apart easy.

If you want to make noise I think you got it. That is going to be a very clean install.

Not a bad looking install. Hope it gets you the sound you are looking for.

Maybe I'm not following how this will work, but it looks like you are building something similar to the Corsa Xtreme. Muffler is really just there to cancel some of the noise. My question is when the baffle is closed, will it not cause exhaust pulses to shoot back towards the flow from the engine?

With it closed it will just be a dead end that has no flow and shouldn't cause any reflection issues.
I will see next week when I finish it up.

I should be able to adjust it from Corsa sound to louder all the way to full open exhaust.

Got the pipes welded up and the mufflers and welds cleaned up and wire wheeled.
Here they are in front of our latest worker
Should have them back in tomorrow but I can't drive the car anywhere in the snow
Got the switch in and ran the wiring out the vent in the driver 1/4 panel
while I had the seats out to do the evo9 Recaro seat mod.
Added these SRP Racing pedals
And put in this old school Kenwood 9044 digital full din graphic EQ
to replace the 9042 1/2 din to improve my mind bending Note 2 old school Rockford Fosgate 1200 watt rms monster stereo.
