Avelate C5
I'm looking to completely redo my C5.
I am looking to redo the stock interior to a much higher luxury standard, using the same materials as a Rolls Royce or a Aston Martin but keeping a "stock" look (because the only downside of the Vette is the interior).
But i am also looking to make it a great car when it comes to performance, shocks/sway bars etc.
I really want a great looking body kit that will perform well and not look bad, I really like the look of the Avelate but sadly I'm 15 years late , Is the any way I can get a hold of that kit or am I

Are you familiar with how Rolls Royce creates an interior? If so, where pray tell will you be sourcing these same materials? They use anywhere from 15 to 18 hides of Bavarian bull. They don’t use cow hide because female cattle are prone to getting stretch marks during pregnancy.
The bulls slaughtered are raised in a region of Europe where the climate is too cold for mosquitos to live – minimizing the presence of insect bites and other blemishes. By choosing bulls over cows and raising them in such a climate, their leather interiors end up being softer to the touch than any other.
Its leather interior is derived from a natural vegetable tanning process christened Corinova.
Corinova starts with a preparation of Glutardialehyde to prepare for tanning. Chestnut extract, sustainably sourced from Southern Europe and Tara powder from crushed fruit of the Tara bush in South America are used for drum-spun colouring. Fruits are harvested without damage to the plant and the product is finished with a combination of natural binders and high tech polymers.
To quote Anchorman, "made with bits of real Panther, so you know it's good". I appreciate where you want to go with your car but when your seats are worth more than your car....

My local junkyards have badly wrecked Royces with nice interiors from the 90's I was planning on getting the leather and refitting it to my car, but I wouldn't mind VE or Caravaggio...
Any confirmation on that bodykit?

Can't help you with that body kit (doubt it is available anymore), but here is a company that makes some really great looking retro kits for Corvettes.

The quick google I did indicated that it wasn't a "body kit" (as in "we'll sell you the parts to do it yourself"), but a full set of body panels made and installed by the Avelate shop and sold as complete (semi-)custom cars. They only did 27 of them before the company went bankrupt, so unless you can find one of them to buy, you're probably SOL.

I have a couple friends who have Rolls-Royces - in fact, I rode every day in one of them for about 3 months. To each his own, but other than exotic bragging rights I did not see the added value? They just felt like riding in leather appointed tanks to me.
If a Caravaggio makeover (if specified right) would not satisfy you, not sure what would? I have a VE interior for the past 7 years and it is the best money I spent - I would have had them do the remaining dash parts, etc (ala Caravaggio) if they had offered that at the time. I would still do the remaining parts at Caravaggio if I could justify that kind of un-insurable expense.
Maybe someday when I get a second car as a DD and can qualify for an Agreed Amount policy?
Custom Interior Mod-Insurance - surprised these interior specialists do not sell separate policies (everybody else does!).

After looking at that Avelate body I have to ask if you even really like the C5. The Avelate is the ugliest and most asinine body mod I can imagine for the C5. I would just sell your C5 and get another car you like better.

Instead of trying to turn your C5 into something it was never meant to be, sell it to someone who appreciates what it is, and buy something closer to what you want, like the Aston Martin you mentioned.

I like the stock look of the interior, just not that it's plastic, my seats are badly worn and I don't want to get oem vinyl seats.... besides that kit I won't find, I really enjoy my car's stock look.
Btw Choreo, I really like what you did with your interior, is that all from VE?
