If I were going to do it, I would certainly spend the extra and go with the metal end links.

Definitely a good upgrade, and what your Chevy dealer would replace the worn/broken plastic ones with.
You don't have to spend $650, either - bought a set of used C6Z sways in the classifieds here for $200 shipped and got the (new) end links on Ebay for $100 shipped...took less than an hour to install while doing my shock upgrade.
Big improvement!

One more vote for going with the metal end links if you are upgrading the sway bars.

metal end links, c6z51 sways and c6z06 shocks and be done. Unless you do some serious auto crossing you would be throwing your money away on anything more expensive to feel the difference on the street
