Mostly carbon fiber in my engine compartment. I removed the stock windshield cowl and had a custom carbon fiber one made. I have no wipers, so the only hole in it is for my nitrous purge valve.

Alternator looks good. Just curious....how did you paint it? Did you remove and dis-assemble it?

Thanks.

No I painted it on the car...I just carefully masked off the parts the best I could...I cut thin strips of paper and put in the slots on the alternator to keep the paint from getting inside... I used John Deere muffler paint which is awesome paint...it covers really fast, dries really quick and takes a lot of heat..

does anyone know if they sell any letter inserts for the fuel rail covers?

Id love to repaint mine and insert some nice lettering in there, maybe stainless or vinyl or anything really.

Places like Mid-America, Ecklers, West Coast Corvettes and Vette Works Intl, among others, sells the letter inserts.

I have heard of and have ordered the tester paint sticks to paint the letters in the fuel rail covers, U can get them from EBAY or at least I did. I got a three pack of red, black and white for 10.00. Pretty handy for small touch up jobs and hood liner painting

Thanks for the links and of course I used Google and am still unable to find what I want. I'd like to have the kit, including the 5.7 and stripes in Chrome.

Wow...
They're all great!!

I just got my new 2002 and only just cleaned the engine bay yesterday, so I don't have anything to offer, but I admire the planning in these pics.

The fuel rail lettering with "raised 3 dimensional insert" I only just discovered yesterday.

Kinda nice to alter the RED to MAG RED for around $70 or less.

Is is a non-metallic Madira 1683 bright Yellow/Gold to match all my other custom embroidery (just looks a bit "metallic" in the photos)...

That's really clean Phil!

I'm going on a limb and will try Artic White components with so minor chrome highlights (lettering, caps, etc). I will also paint the logo on the insulation and install some led accent lighting.

The 19.5" flexible led strips are out of stock at oznium. I can't really find anything similar.
