No I painted it on the car...I just carefully masked off the parts the best I could...I cut thin strips of paper and put in the slots on the alternator to keep the paint from getting inside... I used John Deere muffler paint which is awesome paint...it covers really fast, dries really quick and takes a lot of heat..

I have heard of and have ordered the tester paint sticks to paint the letters in the fuel rail covers, U can get them from EBAY or at least I did. I got a three pack of red, black and white for 10.00. Pretty handy for small touch up jobs and hood liner painting

Wow...
They're all great!!
I just got my new 2002 and only just cleaned the engine bay yesterday, so I don't have anything to offer, but I admire the planning in these pics.
The fuel rail lettering with "raised 3 dimensional insert" I only just discovered yesterday.
Kinda nice to alter the RED to MAG RED for around $70 or less.

That's really clean Phil!
I'm going on a limb and will try Artic White components with so minor chrome highlights (lettering, caps, etc). I will also paint the logo on the insulation and install some led accent lighting.
The 19.5" flexible led strips are out of stock at oznium. I can't really find anything similar.
