Under The Hood Ideas - Just For Looks
Looking for your ideas on under the hood dress up items. Chrome fluid caps and painting the logo on the insulation seem like no brainers. What cool things have you done? How much did you pay and where from?

Here's what mine looks like. Hoodliner was done by Steve Ray at Airbrush Inc. Some of the painted underhood pieces were bought at RPI Designs, the other stuff was bought unpainted from a non-forum vendor and I had my nephew paint it. Some of the chrome pieces were bought from Creative Engine Covers, while the caps on things like the coolant reservoir and washer fluid tank were bought from a forum vendor (the name escapes me right now).

Here again I love the body colored parts, not sure if arctic white would hold up to use...

I painted the caution fan wording on my radiator top support and the flags on the air bridge, and the hood insulation, all DIY really cheap and fast. Nothing near as cool as these previous post, wow these are really nice mods.

Thanks. Oh I'm sure that the hoodliner gets dusty at times, but I just gently brush it with a soft duster and it looks as good as new. Steve Ray does put a clear coat on the liners to help protect them and at least for me, I do not drive the car in the rain so that helps.

I just finished all these mods this winter, The automotive touch-up is ordered by your paint code, primer, base color and clear-coat. I don't know yet how it will hold up but it took very little time to do it. As all these beautiful cars they are high maintenance, but for me that is all the fun of doing the mods.

He's the one I had do mine as well. Kept mine simple. Yours looks great......He also did my custom shifter ****.
All these engines should give you plenty to think about. Here's my contribution for you.
My hood liner.
Little black paint, carbon fiber and chrome. Not sure if you can tell or not but the tanks are hydrocarbon.
