What Do You Think of These Wheels??

Not bad, but if you're going to have bolts, I'd prefer if they were real. Also prefer polished aluminum, not chrome, at least they're not black.

Thanks for the input everyone. I already know I like them. I'm thinking the chrome finish will look great with the color of my car. Although I do like the black chrome finish as well. I was also trying to find something a little less "common" and I think this is it. What do you all think of the tire choice? I'm actually a little more worried about that than the wheels.

I used to work for a very large Lexani wheel distributor. Your little 22s won't get me skurred, yo.

Yes a car is an appliance, even a Corvette and life is choices so
let's not get too worked up over how nice or tacky the fridge is
My fridge is Supercharged
I spent money there instead of more for light weight alloy wheels.
I like the style of the Spyders over RVETT42s Bullets.
Though not a fan of them I don't care about the fake rivets, don't even notice them.
Though heavier than the factory polished 5 spokes weight is not really an issue for me
and they seem to be of high enough quality for the 1200.00 price.
I went with Bridgestone R11 Potenza tires which was another 1300.00
With my A&A SC with 8 lbs of boost and 550 rwhp-500 ft/lb torque I needed bigger wheels
and better gripping tires
Not fond of black wheels for what they cost.
If you want that look try some black plastikote from Autozone.
You could also try different colors

Not a fan at all. Cheap and you can tell. For what you would spend on those and brand new tires I'd buy a nice set of used CCW's, HRE's, Fikse's etc off the classified section. A guy was selling a complete set of CCW classics on there recently for $1,200 with nice tires. Looked to be in good condition.

Considering replacing the stock base wheels on my '98 Convertible with these "Ultra Deep Lip SR1 Spyder Triple Chrome" wheels and a set of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 tires. Any thoughts?

Since you asked, I prefer the stock 5 spoke wheel to those.
I'm not against after market wheels on our Vettes, but it's difficult to find a set that improves the look over stock in my opinion.

BobbC5, I haven't been able to post of picture of my car yet, but if I had you'd see it has the BASE base wheels on it, and I have to say they are one of the ugliest cheapest looking wheels I've ever seen and just about ANY wheel would be an improvement. In fact, after just spending a large sum of money to buy it, I noticed the tires had the beginnings of dry rot (Just some minor cracking). I told my girl I'd have to get new tires and wheels. Then I said the tires were a necessity, but the wheels weren't. She replied, "Oh no, those things have GOT to go." And THAT'S why I love her. LOL
