C5 ZR1 Carbon Fiber Spoiler - Test Fit Pictures!
My C5 ZR1 Carbon Fiber spoiler from C7 Carbon came in today!! It is not permanently installed yet as these are just test fit pics (it will look exactly the same once held on with tape). Bolts were supplied to drill and mount but I will be using 3M VHB double sided tape. Quality is top notch, and spoiler itself is very very light, around 5 pounds at most. The finish is also superb, super smooth with no damage or chips that I've noticed. Not everyone's cup of tea, but I love the look. Big thanks to C7 Carbon for a quality product! Hope you enjoy the pics...and excuse the dirtyness!

Looks like it fits very well. Going to have to consider that spoiler.

Well you definitely have many options to choose from. Took me a long time before I finally decided to order this one. I think black and Carbon go good together, for some colors I would prefer to have the body colored body kits. I'll be adding the Carbon fiber front splitter and side skirts in the future

Nice look! The 3M VHB tape should easily do the job v. bolted, but I'd suggest first prepping the contact area by washing away any wax with Dawn and using 3M Adhesion Promoter. Also, you might consider using a black Sharpie to color the grey outside edge of the VHB tape just in case it's visible. Great looking Vette by the way!

this is bad news for me. I REALLY like that on the coupe. Someone needs to post some pics of it on an FRC/Z so I can see it. Actually no, don't, if I like it on the z06 I'll be forced to buy it.

Forum member Stealth02 actually sent me pics of his Coupe with this spoiler and that pretty much sealed the deal for me to buy it. I haven't seen a FRC or Z with this spoiler yet. Not many pics of coupes with this spoiler either.

That spoiler looks great on the back of the C5. I bought the ZR1 fiberglass version from C7 Carbon. I'm hoping to have it delivered soon so I can get it color matched and painted.

The SLP spoiler looks good to, a good choice as well. Whatever you decide to go with post up some pics once installed! I'll get some full side view pics once the car is cleaned up to give you guys a better view of how it looks.
