18x8 wheels tire fitment
Hi all,
I have a question, I ordered new wheels but they are 18x8 and right now i am running 18x9.5 and 18 x 10.5 wheels and my tires size are 265x35x18 fronts and rears are 295x35 x18, would this tire fit my new wheels 18x8??

Why did you order 8" wide wheels in the first place?? You mention that you already have 18" wheels and the widths you mentioned are fine for the tires you have. The 265/35 tire is just not going to work safely on an 8" wide wheel?
Is the 235/35 a typo? Is the tire actually a 295/35-18? That's the size for a Z06 rear wheel and that will fit easily on a C5 coupe or 'vert. A 235/35 may work on an 8" wide wheel, but that tire is a bit too narrow for a C5 front fitment.

I don't understand how you could order incorrect width wheels, and now come on the forum after the fact and NOW ask if the tires will fit. Kind of *** backwards no?
A 8'' wheel is too narrow for a 265, and certainly waaay too skiiny for a 295!

Recommended wheel width for a 265/35-18 is 9 - 10".
Recommended wheel width for a 295/35-18 is 10 - 11.5".
I wouldn't do it!!! But then I wouldn't put 8" wide wheels on my C5 either.
The tires would be squeezed beyond safe limits on 8" wide wheels, exceptionally so on the 295 tire. Insufficient sealing surface contact on the tubless tire bead. Doubt many if any tire shops would mount those tires on wheels that narrow either.

OK, you're a noobie...oops, no, been here since 07...hmmm!
At least you cancelled the order, we saved you some dough!!!
It's tough to come to grips that 8'' is TOO small!
