Default Quick fix for ugly widshield wiper arms

Tried this on my wife's BMW first. Works pretty well.

Get a can of Bar Keepers Friend...works on tailpipe tips too, cost $3.

Just put some on a moist sponge, mash it in to make a paste, rub. Here are the results.

Those look great. I solved that problem by removing my wipers.

That stuff did a great job on the wiper assembly. Will have to keep it in mind.

Moved to Hawaii...Those stickers are the last remnant of the great State of Texas. Just can't let it go...

Wondering how long before the gate guards on Hickam AFB ask me that too.

Current Hawaii tags front and back.

Default Bar Keepers Friend

Stuff does wonders on stainless steel BBQ grills and sinks too! No scratching.

BTW thanks for the tip about BKF. I think I've got some of it around somewhere but never thought to use it as you suggested. Have only used it on stainless steel sinks and such.

I think following up with wax would be a good idea. This will definitely get the years of oxidation off first.

No, it is not the same as Comet and don't try to use Comet as a substitute.
Even if you can't find it in your local store, which would be surprising, you can find anything online.

Cool. Hey your location states your in Hawaii but your license sticker on windshield on the car notes 'Tom Green' out by San Angelo ... which is it ??

OOPS .. didn't read all of the posts .. saw you moved. Guess Hawaii is better than West Texas !

They have it at Home Depot, but it costs a fortune: $1.48 for a 15oz can...must be a "Corvette tax" thing.

It was very thoughtful of you to try it on your wife's vehicle first...
