Default Need .bmp file for upload to Kenwood DNX690HD

Please HELP: Bought a Kenwood DNX690HD HU to replace the stock unit in my '04 CE Coupe. Have wanted to change the startup Kenwood "splash" screen to some version of the '04 CE Flag logo. I personally do not have the suggested Photoshop software to create the required .bmp file. Have tried 3 "professional" shops to do this with no success. Are there any CF members who have successfully been able to do the upload and would be willing to send me there cool, '04 CE Flag logo file, already in .bmp format that I could then load to my Kenwood unit. I would really appreciate any help you could give me. My email, if you wanted to share with me is: ncandyred@aol.com

Thank you very much.

I want to be surprised that you have 3 pro shops who can't make a BMP, but I have been dealing with a graphics company and none of their people have a fn clue how to make an image file. It's incredible. They have no concept of 'generations' of an image, lossy vs lossless and when lossy and lossless mean something. No concept of image size vs file size. It's like talking to a mechanic who doesn't understand that pressure inside the cylinder pushes on the piston and makes the engine go around. I stand in disbelief..

If you want, I will send you the software to make the image yourself. Pm me.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED ! Many thanks to all who have responded to my call for help, especially to fellow CF member K-Spaz (Phil) who helped to create the necessary .BMP file from an old version of Photoshop. Great bunch of guys on the Forum,

Glad to be of service. I've been helped here many times myself, there are a LOT of answers to be had on this forum.

I still say the people at Kenwood should be burned at the stake for making that as difficult as it is. There is simply no reason for that.

PS. Don't forget to try that TIF image. Might be a lot easier...
