Rainy Sat. decided to fix dim HVAC
Pouring rain and thunder, so decided to throw caution to the wind and fix the dim HVAC panel. OMG, those resisters are friggin small. The pics on this forum make them look big, like size of your pinky finger nail, more like size of the end of a pencil (and maybe a little smaller) First try at soldering and one instantly moved. Got my college age daughter out of bed and had her hold a pencil on top to hold them down while I soldered. That was the biggest trick of all the write-ups, it takes two people, one to hold them down, one to solder. All back together, works like a champ, 90 min for the job, 10min to get the daughter out of bed
