Removal of shift boot, automatic, need help
Hi all
I am replacing the original stereo in my 01 coupe. I have watched a really good video on how to remove everything to get the original unit out, and it looks pretty straight forward, except for one thing. The video was for a six speed car, my car is an automatic. Does anyone know how to what I have to do to get the center console out on a car equipped with and automatic? Any help is appreciated.

Do a google search for "how to remove c5 center console". You'll find you tube videos with an A4 console.

The link from Vette Essentials is excellent and the one I have used when I have removed my radio/HVAC bezel. It really is not very hard to do just be careful that you don't break any tabs and that you ensure you get all the screws loose that hold the bezel in place before you pull back on the bezel.
