Default Took a cue from 73Corvette

I found out my friend's daughter was going to her Sr Prom last Saturday. I know her boyfriend is in the Army and wasn't available to go. 73Corvette's thread about letting his grandson take his car, got me thinking.

I asked my friend how her daughter was getting there only to find out that my friend was taking her in the family Subaru. With this in mind, I offered to drive her daughter in my Vette. I said she can't arrive in a Subaru because Subaru spelled backwards is U-R-A-Bus and nobody in their right mind wants to arrive at Prom in a bus.

Much to the daughter's delight, I showed up with my sparkling clean car and dressed in a suit. When I got to the door, I announced "Frank's Freakin Fast Limosine at your service." We lined up with the other limos and I escorted her out of the car when it was our turn. We had a blast.

Thanks for the inspiration 73Corvette.

i wanted to make a "she 18 yet?" Joke, but the whole boyfriend in the army made it seem inappropriate.
