It's usually an event that normally takes place on a certain Sunday in any given area where a bunch of car enthusiast meet up, not sure about your perticular area but a quick google search should provide the info you seek.

Most C&C i've been to are Saturdays, but Atlanta and some in LA are Sunday, like Supercar Sundays in Topanga Canyon. Atlanta is massive though...biggest I've ever seen.

We have them down here in Orlando the 2nd saturday of each month in the morning.
Here is a short video of the last one I went to
They are a great place to chat about all types of cars. It's a fun way to start out the weekend.
It's also helpful to meet local people to find out all the good automotive shops and mechanics in the area.
