I ran into a snag this afternoon trying to join the tube to the bell housing. Right now I'm about 6 inches away. Does any one have any tips or tricks that might make this easier?

I don't know the magic trick,I tried and tried to do mine by myself,could not get it,got my in law to help and it went right in,don't know what we did but it just took having 2 guys to do it. Good luck.

Yeah I might have to give in a call for help. So far I've done the clutch job all by my self. I found someone's write up where they put a c clamp on the tube and bellhousing but it almost felt like it might break it.

I did the same,took it apart by myself,but like I said re installing just could not get it lined up. Good luck,what clutch did you go with?

I got the exedy stage one kit with lighten flywheel. I paid 575 for the kit which seemed like the best deal I could find. Man it hasn't been fun trying to line it up. My c clamp broke this morning trying to pull it together
