Default What are our bodies made of...???

I think that most of us older guys remember the bodies of the C1s-C2s-and C3s and that fiberglass that their bodies were made of...
Kinda like a fiberglass boat is how I would describe it...

After that it seems like the material changed...
After the C3s did that material morph into some thing more like an ABS plastic or some kind of hybrid material...???

The good thing is that despite the blend used, you can if needed repair the SMC panels with standard off the shelf fiberglass materials.

I grew up learning that our bodies were made mostly from water.

ARe you sure? Because I had read that the SMC material has a mold release agent incorporated into the material that doesn't bond well to other materials.

I hope you are correct, as this would make my world easier than buying the correct bonding material, the smallest amount I can find is $100 and is more material than I need, and doesn't keep.
