Best (and latest) Iphone Mount for C5
I know there have been previous threads on this subject based on my search, however since new products come out every year, I'm curious what the best options are for mounting an iPhone in the C5 interior? What I'm really looking for is some kind of mount that connects to the AC power outlet behind the ashtray that can charge the phone while it's mounted.
Appreciate any replies and pics.
Thanks!

iPhone dock
I'm not in love with it because the phone is hard to line up properly. It does fit in the C5 cup holder though. I converted my cigarette lighter to USB power and plug it in there.

Take a look at this site...I have one on my C5. I have an old Ipod that I use just for music. I purchased and adapter in the event that I plug in my Iphone 5S.

I am more than happy with Pro Clip. You buy the vehicle specific mount for the car, then you buy the device specific mount. So when you upgrade your device you just buy the new mount portion.

Made my own. Uses a Scosche adjustable phone holder. It will hold any phone. Even the new Iphone 6 plus. I made the bracket to fit behind the radio bezel. Was concerned about the pro clip scuffing the finish of my carbon hydro bezel. It is held in place by the AC control mounting screw. Did not want my console cluttered plus it is angled for perfect veiwing. I bluetooth my music and phone calls and this mount makes it very accessible. Can also rotate phone 360 degrees. Shoot me a pm if your interested in one. I have a few brackets made up. I've made these for a few members.

Good to see we have responsible folks on board!
Being in the highway industry and seeing all the crashes from cell phone use, primarily texting, it's good to know one of you guys won't be running me over!

I've got the pro clip mount for the c5, and its a great set up, but they are pricey IMHO.
BUT
Since I updated my head unit I never got back around to installing it again, I ran the hook up to the center console and just put my phone in there.
Hell I need to list it and about a 100 other things I don't use in the classifieds

I have been using this lately : Kenu Airframe+ , found on ebay or amazon.
its just a simple vent holder and i seem to only use it when i'm using my phone for nav. If you put it on the vent next to the hazard switch you dont have to take your eyes too far off of the road. Otherwise my phone just sits in the cupholder.
