When you search...just use the GOOGLE search and you will find more results than trying to use the forum search... it is VERY picky

Just a helpful hint. If you do decide to go ahead with it make sure to use at least 5 coats otherwise when you go to peel it off down the road it will be the biggest pitta. (ask me how I know...)

do you wait a set time before you start to apply the 2nd coat and so on?

[QUOTE=doublec4;1589712924]I did the entire back end (C5R look) and the results were okay. However, if you're doing a large area I suggest getting a proper spray gun. The cans will leave a streaky look from my experience.
Eventually I just decided to get it properly painted.
IS that an RPI spoiler?

Yes it is. I had it painted two tone so the backside would be black to match my rear fascia.
Also, the trick with the paint line with plastidip is to peel the masking tape while the dip is still wet. If you let it dry, the rest of the dip will lift with the tape and you'll mess up your line.

I sprayed mine in 2012, and haven't toucvhed it since other than washes. The edges aren't perfect but overall pretty good. I tried to hit it with the glossifier but it made it feel kinda rough for a few days then went back to normal

I did my by masking with blue painters tape and paper first, leaving it about 1/4" short of where I wanted my finished line. Then I used electrical tape I Iet warm up in the sun for the dipped line, much easier to mask the bend with that stuff. When I sprayed I went very light up to the electrical tape for 4 coats. Last coat I went up to the edge and pulled the electrical tape off immediately. I did the rear and the wheels last summer and it still looks the same as it did then.

Anyone able to answer my question ? how long to wait between the coats you spray onto the fascia?

The stuff dries fast, if you do thin coats you can just about go from left to right, then start back over as soon as you get to the end.
