My water pump took a dump.
I noticed some water/antifreeze pooling under the C5, couldn't find any leaks on radiator, overflow tank, anywhere, except the under the water pump pulley....... and immediately knew what that meant! Now I am going to pull the supercharger and related brackets to pull it off and R&R it. Of course all this is in conjunction with installing the new dash....so when it rains, IT RAINS! But it's not a step for a stepper like me. In the mean time I get to drive the ole C4 for a week or so. PLUS the Dodge Ram 1500 is at the dealership for more recalls and maybe I'll get it back mid week? It's been one of this things when everything happens.
BUT I am having an awesome time taking the ole girl out for some time behind the wheel.

Go with the LS7 pump...its a couple pounds lighter and moves more water. I just put one on my wifes 01 z06. I got it on amazon and it came with thermostat and gaskets. After i took hers off it was only the gaskets that were bad..oh well. I put it on anyway but used some fel-pro gaskets...way better than the delco's that the pump came with.

not sure how many ribs your belt is but the early style ls7 pumps (I want to say 06-07) have a wider pulley that will support a 10 rib belt... the later style ls3/7 pumps have a smaller pulley and I think an 8 rib won't even fit on those... one thing that sucks about superchargers is that you have to remove so much stuff to replace simple parts... oh hey, you're stickers on the c4 are out too jk

Good looking C4 and good luck with the C5 repair.

I just did one on my truck. Do one on a diesel and yours will seem easy. They are gear driven and a lot needs to come off. Including the harmonic balancer. It has a torque of 280. But it takes more than that to remove it.

C4 looks really nice, can they be lowered as easily as a C5 ?
