before calling up CCW and making an order?
I'm ready to pull the trigger on some SP500's in Bright Clear Anodized for my Nassau Blue baby, but now that I'm ready to do it, I'm hesitating because it's a good chunk of change for......wheels. Awesome nice wheels for sure, but.....wheels, lol.

I can empathize with the feeling. But this forum is a bad influence if you don’t like to spend money. The more time I spend on this forum, the more I end up spending on upgrades for my car.
Those wheels should look great.

Go ahead and buy the new wheels. It's only money. Besides, it's better to look good driving the car with the new wheels than to feel good not having to spend the money at all.

I just checked. My original wheels are still round and better looking than most of the aftermarket junk, especially the black ones that make you look like you lost your hub caps. Yea, I'd hesitate

I know how you feel. I would love to have a set of CCWs on my car, but by the time I buy new wheels, tires, pressure sensors and shipping, you have quite a chunk of change tied up in them. It's hard to let loose of that kind of money when a performance upgrade could also be considered.

you can always keep an eye out for some in the fs section, they usually pop up now and then... I have owned 2 sets, one used and my current ones I bought new and they will make the car look drastically different especially if it's lowered... you will forget about the money once they are on the car

I actually passed on some really cheap 505A's recently in the sizes I want simply because they weren't exactly what I wanted. Don't want to settle. Have never seen SP500's in bright clear anodized......Same but different for me, lol. I'd grab a used set if one ever showed for sure.

I've been tempted from time to time but I must say, I really like my stock wheels. I might pull the trigger when it comes time to replace my tires, but it's not a big item on my wish list. In fact, my wish list is getting very small. GM simply made a great car right out of the box, and I'm thrilled with it as it is (with non runflat tires and an MGW shifter).

SP500 is the best looking wheel you can put on a C5...I think they were made for each other. With that being said check out my for sale thread I had to go with a narrower set to clear the tubes on my turbo kit. Mine are polished but you would only need to buy the rears. If interested make me an offer...I need these gone so I can buy some new rear tires. Mike

Ever wonder why ET had a modded c5 even though he was one of the engineers responsible for designing the c5?
