Default hard to find part needed

C5 people I need your help. A buddy of mine bought a very nice 98 Vert about a year ago and really likes it
.
He has a problem with the driver side seat module as he calls it. It no longer works and he is about a foot taller than his wife only he can now drive the car. He told me he went to his local Chevy dealer and they looked up the part on the nationwide computer and said there is not a part like that available anywhere.

Anyone out there know of a company that sells this part or perhaps a bone yard that may have it. My buddy does not have a computer (long story) so I told him I would post this.

The part needed according to him is Part number 9360841. it is for the C5 driver side seat module.

Thanks.

Try Marc at VetteNuts - he's a forum vendor and can probably help you out.

Thanks for the info I will pass it on.

I also hope that possibly the night shift here will add a few more good ideas!

the part has been discontinued so that is a bit of an issue, so used is the way to go, from the part number listed
i found this website that says the part number will also work with these ones
https://www.partmyride.com/cars/Chev...sort=partprice

i would also check fuse's and make sure where the wire's connect to the module that somehow it has not come lose or maybe even disconnted..it could happen

Default 9360841 seat module

I would try calling some online shops that specialize in parts for corvettes. I needed a Driver's side seat track got them from Dino's corvette salvage, online they might be able to help you or give you some advice

I will keep eye on this thread and I will go by a Vette salvage yard here in Portland today and see if they have one and if they do I will contact you to see if you still need the part.

Just got on and found this. Thanks.

Again thanks to all that responded.

Like I said my friend loves his car. Its his first one (age 68) and he found a decent one and he asked me to look for him as he knew I had a 98 quite close to the one he bought 18 months ago.
