Caliper Color Choice thoughts.....
Take one Nassau Blue C5
Add a set of bright clear anodized CCW SP500 wheels (ordered, pic is to show finish)
And some C6 ZO6 brakes with a custom powdercoat color. I don't want red, black, silver, yellow, or paint matching. Must be powdercoat. Thinking gold or a darker copper, subtle yet different. Really wanting this, just depends on if Mike has this color available.
Color is translucent Arizona Copper.
Thoughts or ideas?

Cool, so I'm not crazy. Not to just see if the powder coater can do the color.

Like the wheels, not so much the calipers. Not a chrome, gold, shiny guy though...

The color you are thinking about for the calipers looks great. Will really go well with Nassau Blue. Heck, that color would go good with my Electron Blue.
Just a quick question about the wheels - I would assume the clear anodized stuff is a clear coat applied to the wheels. Is that correct? Sure would make keeping them looking nice a lot easier.

Will be FAR easier to keep looking clean though. Not nearly as prone to spotting or minor blems as the polished wheels. This was my big swaying factor in choosing this finish. Too much maintenance on the polished ones. But.....have to watch out for brake dust. Certain kinds are corrosive and will eat through the anodization. Hawks were specifically mentioned by John.

How about one of these? Blue or red would look good

I think you could put four old wagon wheels on that car; and it's going to be beautiful anyway!!!
But, with that said, your old wheels looked great, and the new ones are very classy! I like the copper look for the calipers. A little different, no one else (most likely) will have them.
Will look great! Hope to see 'the finished' product when you get it all together.

Arizona Copper would look great if you want the calipers to stand out... if not, then black.

I've already decided on the traparent copper. Yes I do want the calipers to stick out, without being a typical cliche'd color. Something subtle, but noticable, but different at the same time.
Won't be getting done until September timeframe. I'm not expecting the wheels until late August, and have to get tires, and brake pads and new brake lines too. Wanting to do the receiver/fob/tpms upgrade too while I'm at it.

We've done the calipers in cooper also. It does look pretty good
